Hey all, Welcome to my Sonic 2 HD Project gameplay video! I have been doing some testing for Sonic the Hedhehog 2 HD Demo/Preview and I just wanted to share my playthrough/walkthrough footage with you all! the small team over at https://sonic2hd.com/ have been busy redesigning the seminal classic Sonic 2 from the ground up! The visuals have had a massive overhaul with new animations and a very crisp finish some of the purists might find it a little too clean but its just the art direction that have chose. The attention to detail is crazy good! The audio and game soundtrack has also been remade and is sounding phenomenal! SEGA need to hire this team, seriously! Its kind of cool that they are letting them go forward with this project, although SEGA have always been pretty cool like that (...unlike Nintendo...cough cough) The demo (2.0) played in this video covers Emerald Hill, Hill Top and Chemical Plant the bosses as well so there is a good feel for the project here. While Sonic Mania was a great stand alone game with nods to the classics this project really does have potential to stand toe to toe!
